Belizean law stipulates only that foreign nationals wishing to be married in the country must be present three days prior to the ceremony. Once married, your marriage will instantly be valid in all other countries, including the United States, and your marriage documents will be written in English. Belizean law requires that the ceremony be performed by either a local priest or a registered Justice of the Peace. At least two witnesses must be present consisting of one man and one woman. Yok Ha can work with you to secure both the witnesses as well as a Justice of the Peace or preacher to officiate the ceremony.
